Hastelloy C-276 alloy is a nickel chromium molybdenum alloy containing tungsten. It is considered to be a universal anti-corrosion alloy because of its very low silicon carbon content. It is mainly resistant to wet chlorine, various oxidizing chlorides, chloride solution, sulfuric acid and oxidizing salts. It has good corrosion resistance in low-temperature and medium temperature hydrochloric acid.
